Our Team
The lovely members of Petal to Life have one thing in common, we all have a love of people and progress. Each of us has also observed and/or experienced the affects of addiction.

Detria Greene
Unlike what statistics expect, she became a single-parent at the age of seventeen even though she was reared in a two-parent, Christian household with lot of love and provision. Detria gave birth to a handsome son. It was a sudden adjustment, but despite any disappointments her family supported her through her parental journey. She later had a beautiful girl. Thankfully, she had the privilege to stay home with both children to give them the love and support her parents had shown her.

She later moved away from home and suffered through an abusive relationship. Having not addressed the trauma of the domestic abuse, she began to spiral downhill with alcohol and substance abuse. In the early 90's, she moved back to Asheville and faced her addiction. With a year and a half spent in a recovery program, she was able to become the person she knew she could be.

Detria went on to manage a business based in North Carolina while pursing a degree in Marketing. She is a proud graduate of AB Tech,
and owner of the start-up recovery program Petals to Life based in Spartanburg, SC. She did her undergraduate studies in Business Administration at Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Missouri. While her journey was not easy, she believes it gave her the heart to help other women blossom to their full potential, and she looks forward to being a bridge to others wanting a better life, too.
